Delicate flowers (Unity)

I used water colour pencils for the first time on this card. I did it as an after thought and next time I will definitely use thicker card stock or water colour paper :D. But I was careful with the water and it didn't wobble too badly.

I used Unity's January 2014 Kit of the Month.

More inspired by Unity - shadow stamping

Another Unity Be Inspired card!  This one I turned on its side and kept it clean. I made 6 of these for men's birthdays and used shadow stamping by just stamping off to the side after stamping the front tree:

Unity "Be Inspired" - "finger painting" birthday

I finally get a chance to play along in Unity's Be Inspired challenge!

Here's the card sketch:

I kept the layers the length of the card:

To colour the flowers, I used my little finger and rubbed it lightly on a distress ink pad (barn door) and rubbed from the bottom of the flower outwards. I had to make 6 of these cards so that saved time but I also like how it came out!

DS4J Challenge #90: Easter / Spring

It's that time of year again and a time I personally do not take for granted.  Digistamps4Joy is hosting a Easter / Spring challenge and I chose Easter because it is so important.

The background was stamped with a Chiswick background stamp and once I started stamping I only realised they look like little crosses!
