I remember my Dad had a very short-lived golfing hobby when I was still very young. My younger sister and I still recount (again last week!!) the story of how we went with him when he went to play golf during a holiday at a course where there were a lot of pine trees. We wanted to pick as many pine cones as we could but of course we had nothing to carry it in. But behind us there were other golfers and in our young minds we suspected that those people are going to take all the pine cones for themselves! So we proceeded to "hide" as many pine cones as we could along the course. In bushes, little streams, shrubs, you name it. The next day we went armed with large plastic bags and retrieved as many as we could find (remember)!! I must have been around 11 years old hahahaha. That was a good memory....
So here is a posthumous, humorous tribute to my Dad's short-lived golfing experience (he really wasn't very good). Miss my Dad every single day but rejoice that we will meet again in heaven. He would have loved this.
I added some glossy accents to the clubs for shine and a little dimension:
I used the sketch from Happy Little Stampers as my inspiration:

DS4J Release - Coffee Club
<THIS POST WENT LIVE TOO EARLY ... PLEASE CHECK IN ON SUNDAY>
My close friends know that I am a total coffee addict. I'm not fussy either. If it has caffeine I'm happy. My kids and I have a weak spot for a "coffee shop". I've heard that this concept is not really common overseas, but in short it's like a less formal, smaller, restaurant that are open from breakfast to late lunch and serves lighter meals than, say, steak houses (restaurants). We have loads of them here in South Africa and you are often spoiled for choice in the malls / shopping centers.

We started school this week and it's been quite an adjustment having a Grade 2 and Kindergarten kid and we're still finding our routine. So I wasn't able to actually make a card with this set but PLEASE CHECK OUT MY DS4J TEAMIES' PROJECTS!!
The set looks like this:
Hopefully I can play with the images soon :D
Here's to CUPPA!

DS4J releases - African Pots
My second (and third) new image at Digistamps4Joy are two images of African pots:
The pot on the left (and right) is the "African pot 1" image and I combined the panel with "African pot 2" (middle). Have fun with this!
I used the layout at Freshly Made Sketches.
Head over to the DS4J blog for more inspiration this month and don't forget to check out our current challenge.

DS4J new release - CUPS
Here's the first of my 2015 new releases at Digistamps4Joy!
Let's have some TEA!!
I used the layout from Happy Little Stampers as inspiration. I did move the main image off-centre and nestled it into the sentiment.
Margy is releasing the cutest little critter - you must check it out and also see the beautiful projects of the rest of the team!

First DT post for Party Time Tuesday!
Today is my first post forParty Time Tuesday and it's a great honour!
Here's my first project for the team. I did another decorated home-made body butter jar since I needed to give some more to family:
I used a Joy! Craft die-cut (smallest of a 3-piece butterfly die-set) and the Floral Wreath stamp from GinaK Designs. (It has 3 fitting sentiments for the center.)
The sponsor this month at PTT is Spectrum Noir and I coloured mine with my Spectrum Noirs as well. (Greens & Yellows sets).
Join me by entering the Anything Goes challenge at Party Time Tuesday!
