PACMAN! with CTS234

It was really funny when my kids asked, "Mom! Do you KNOW Pacman?!"  Ooooh yes. For those interested, Pacman was released in May 1980! 

When I saw the Cas(e) this Sketch #234 I immediately saw Pacman!

Sentiment from discontinued Unity Stamp Co set. The ghosts are line images printed from the web and colored and the rest are die-cuts and punch circles.

Sea sickness

Here's a quick and easy simple journal page.  I found I like simple and plain easier to do than try and mimic fancy, busy ones.

Sitting under a tree sounds like a pretty good idea at the moment :)

Here's a quick sliding in at the end with Cas(e) the Sketch #233!!  Thank you Hannelie for a great sketch!

I decided to go one-layer as well (daring, I know!)

I made a boo-boo when stamping the sentiment. I inked on the edge of the rubber stamp and that ended up being the right-wing of the 'bird'. I added another wing to make the bird.

Flower life

I was recently diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer. It sure puts things into perspective. 3 weeks ago I had a total thyroidectomy and this morning I came out of hospital after my radioactive iodine therapy (which is another story). But one realises that along the path of life there are often things that end so that something else can begin. I might have lost my thyroid but I have to focus on new beginnings.  I made a small journal page to remind me:

My page used flowers from GinaK Design, A Year of Flowers 1, all paper pieced with hand-drawn stems. Quote is my own.


This is a new journey and still some outstanding tests and answers, but hopefully this is a new road to recovery.
