Another new DS4J release - Flower frame

Here's a flower frame I made for Digistamps4Joy that goes with the zentangle frame and can also be used for sentiments. But here I made a collar for an envelope (3x4) that I made with my envelope punch board from We-R-Memory Keepers.  You can write the recipient's name on it and put it on a gift. OR use the frame as a name tag to paste on a gift.

 

(The brown envelope shows what the back of it looks like)

 I used my Sakura Gel pen to cover the flowers and it gives it a smooth finish.

DS4J Release Sunday - Ice cream!

It's release Sunday at Digistamps4Joy and here's my first of two new images, ICE CREAM!! We all scream for Ice Cream, of course!

I used some Glossy Accents to mimic the melting ice cream and the background was just done with sponging and masking. I used a spellbinder circle die and for the rays, I just cut the shape out of card stock and used it as a stencil.

GDT at Glitter n Sparkle - BUTTERFLIES

DS4J challenge CIRCLES

Asmah is hosting the new Digistamps4Joy challenge and it's all about

CIRCLES!!

I used the current sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch which fitted it perfectly!

For the main window I used my new "Ivy Circle" image which fits Spellbinders Circle dies!  The DP for the main panel as well as the circle cutouts are from Prima Marketing (Lady bug collection).

The sentiment is Unity Stamp Co "A Lovely Butterfly Day"

Another new image for DS4J Aloha!

Aloha!!  We are moving SWIFTLY into Spring here in Johannesburg, South Africa and after a very mild winter I think we might be in for a hot summer. I hope not since I melt!

Here is a card with my 2nd image for Digistamps4Joy's new release today, Aloha!  NOTE: The image in the shop comes with two sentiments in two different fonts as well.

Since I love making a scene I just knew that Margy's Sailboat and Lighthouse images would go perfectly together. Strips of torn cardstock creates texture and image as well.

DS4J Release Zentangle frame

I love the idea of "zentangle". It's a lot like the doodling I did in school and university. Sort of calms the mind doesn't it?

So here's one of the three new images I'm releasing today in the DS4J shop:

You can either leave it black & white, or lightly shade parts (if you enlarge the close-up you might see the very light blueish grey in areas) or go BOLD and do all the colours you can lay your hands on.

I used the current layout of Freshly Made Sketches:

Zentangle doesn't need training of plans, but your own creativity and go with the flow!

I used a sentiment from Papertrey Ink but you can resize the frame to fit any of your favourite sentiment stamps or create your own in Word or Powerpoint.
