Paintball birthday fun

I love making cards. No surprise there. But what I love even more is making personalized cards to fit the recipients passions, hobbies and interests. So here's a card for a 12-year old birthday boy who loves paintball!
If you can't color a splatter to look like liquid, just add GLOSSY ACCENTS!!
Glossy Accents on the visors as well....

Digistamps4Joy Challenge #74: Anything Goes!

Whooop an Anything Goes challenge at Digistamps4Joy. I decided to make a little gift box and used Jen's "Tag 1":
 Sentiment: Unity "Birthday Chic"
And what on EARTH is under it?  Our little family started building the world map puzzle (600 pieces!) we bought through our homeschool curriculum (Global Puzzle). We got it end of last year already but I didn't have the guts to take it out yet. Since we are in a small house I also didn't know where we would put it. But then I had a brainwave yesterday! Take out a camping table. Perfect size and we move it  into the garage (which is filled with camping gear at the moment) when not building. Here is a picture below of how far we got on Day 1.
Hubby really got into it! And I must say even though I'm terrible at puzzles it was fun!! And a great activity to do together which is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING!
Wish us luck!

Nostalgia

Here is something completely different. This is a personalized card that was commissioned by a lady from church for her Dad who is turning 90. She told me that he is a fan of the Atlanta Braves and that gave me the input to put this together:
The background is a photo that was taken in 1933 of Braves Field where the team played from 1915 to 1951. The baseball player is from the Braves team and then we have some of their banners as well. I hope he'll like it!

Itty Bitty a Day 5: Bird

I used the Itty Bitty "Bird with a French Fry" for this one:

Unity with Flair

I made this for Unity's Friends with Flair and used a CAS(E) this Sketch layout #41:

For the first time I'm happy with how a collage came out. I used four stamps from the Unity Kit of the Month for July for the image panel & a sentiment:
