I love covering these notebooks. Ring-binded books are so easy since there's no spine to cover. I made this from one of the "2nd chance" recycled paper notebooks available at Woolworths.

And when it's all prettied up with Joanna Sheen's Fantasy Flowers, it looks like this:
Flowers were made with clear embossing powder and then shaded over with Tim Holtz distress inks.
