I don't have Christmas stamps in my small collection so I had to improvise. These ideas usually come to me when I'm struggling to fall asleep. And then instead of trying to sleep I have to get up and execute!
The tree was created by stamping with the long vine stamp from GinaK Designs' "The Vine" (see link "Stamps I use" on the left hand menu for links). I then used the smallest and medium single vine leaves to stamp seperately. I shaded the 'tree' and individual leaves with Tim Holtz Pine Needles (same ink stamped with).
The trunk was created by taking a piece of brown Tim Holtz Distress cardstock and scoring it at 1/8" intervals. It was then 'sanded' with a nail file (emery board).
The individual leaves were then cut out and adhered with 3D foam to the tree.
The decorations I got from raiding my old beading boxes. The 'looped stars' I sewed to the tree by making a small hole with a piercer and then using silver thread and needle, looping the embellishment onto the car. The small red beads were just glued on by dropping them onto a small glob of liquid glue (Tombow).

The sentiment is from GinaK Designs "Fanciful Tags".
