This month of March 2012 marks the ONE YEAR anniversary of my card making journey! To celebrate I'm giving away a $10 gift certificate to GinaK Designs' store! It might help stocking up on inks or refills or go towards the purchase of a set. (NOTE: There's a new release coming 8 March!)
To enter:
1. Like my page (if you don't already :D)
2. Comment on this post and in the comment leave a link to one of YOUR own favorite cards (direct link to the card, not your whole blog please). Tell us why you like that one in particular. Maybe it's the first time you used a new technique that you love. If you don't have a card blog you can leave a link to one of my cards that you like (and say why).
CLOSING: Midnight April 8th (on my clock :D, i.e. GMT+2). Winner will be announced on April 9th.

How exciting is this! Lily Pad Cards' are also celebrating their first anniversary! And what a great honor to be part of the blog hop t...
Geluk met jou herdenking ;) So bly jy geniet dit so baie soos ek!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! I recently celebrated one year of my cardmaking blog too, so understand how much of a milestone that is.
ReplyDeleteA favourite card I've made recently was for Valentine's Day. (Coincidentally, it uses images from Stamp TV and was for one of their challenges!)
Here's the direct link to the card:

The reason I've chosen this particular card is I learned a new technique for this one, which was how to make the ribbon rosette that is featured.
What a lovely way to celebrate YOUR one year stamping anniversary by giving to others. I just adore Stamp TV...I hope this link to my favorite card I just made is what you are looking for.

I chose this card because of its simplicity, black and white with just a touch of color. I used Gina K's free digital patterned paper "Black Pin Stripes" along with the matching Labels 16 stamp from Gina's "Wishing You Joy" stamp set. May God continue to bless the work of your hands...(((HUGS)))
Dankie vir die uitnodiging Riette!

Ek dink die kaartjie weerspieel my styl en dit was vir my n blog hoogtepunt om n CASual friday challenge daarmee te wen.
skuus as ek dom is, maar hoe gaan ek te werk om jou page te 'like'?
Groete
Red, congrats are your first year cardmaking anniversary. Looking at your gallery, I agree with Karen that its hard to believe you've only been doing it for a year, since your creations are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite cards (and techniques)is one I made for Karen and that I entered in a Stamptv challenge (my first win, btw). The challenge was to make your own dp, which I did using distress and a butterfly. I did some sewing, which I've learned to love. You can find my card at: http://stamptv.ning.com/photo/sosorrymyfriend
Red, keep up the fabulous work you're doing. May you have many successful years. Hugz and Blessings!

I created this card for a StampTV challenge and used crackle paint to create a cracked glass/porcelain look. I really love how this card turned out.
Congratulations on your one year and thanks for posting on the blog hop.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a blog so I picked one of your cards " Flowers for Granny". I love gate fold cards. Congrats to your anniversary.

I liked your blog. I don't have a blog to connect you to any of my cards. Of your cards, I really like the Gratitude card in the March 26 post. I love how you blended the colors.
