I made this card for a stamp-tv challenge to make a sponged layer. Now I've made a couple with a horizontal layer using torn pieces of card stock but this time I wanted to try something different.
I took a piece of card stock and cut two different sized circles into it with Spellbinders Circles Small dies. I used the piece with the holes to sponge through:
I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Crushed Olive, Spiced Marmalade and Mustard Seed.
I stamped the dragon flies and highlighted the wings with Stardust Stickles. The sentiment was stamped in black as well. (NOTE: It's easier to stamp your sentiment FIRST so that you have the right spacing for it unless you want it to overlap a sponged area.)
