I can finally post this card which I made and sent halfway across the world to my talented friend Hannelie (http://desertdiva-hannelie.blogspot.com/) in Abu Dhabi!
Used "Beach hut" from Digistamps4Joy & alphabet stamps from Chiswick.
The sand was created by smearing the bottom with embossing ink and then using a puffing embossing powder. My friend said it made it there, sand and all :D (she knows sand...)
Colored with Spectrum Noirs & banners shaded with Tim Holtz.

ReplyDeletehey I am a homeschooling Mom as well and I want to say hats off to you for finding the time to create and share with us all. Your card today is amazing and to be honest I haven't seen anything quite like it before. I love the idea of that country feeling birdhouse against that beautiful big blue sky and the star of the show, that amazing banner with such a big resounding Hello. Really makes one want to stop for tea. Lol. Thanks for sharing sweetie. You have done an outstanding job on this. Hugs.
